Buying & Sending

 

1. How do I purchase a gift card?
     Visit the Gift Card tab on our site — pick an amount, and it's ready to send instantly or scheduled for a future date.

 

2. Can I schedule when the gift card is sent?
     Yes — pick a future delivery date and time at checkout, perfect for birthdays or holidays when you don't want it landing early.

 

3. Can I write a personal message?
     Yes — add your own note (up to 500 characters) at checkout, included right alongside the card.

4. Is there a fee to purchase a gift card?
     No fees, ever. Whatever amount you choose is exactly what lands on the card.

 

5. Is this a physical card or digital only?
     Digital only — delivered by email, no physical card mailed.

 

6. Do I pay tax on a gift card?
     No tax when you purchase one. Sales tax applies when the card is redeemed, based on the items in that order — same as any other payment method.

 

7. Can I use a gift card to purchase another gift card?
     No, gift cards can't be used to buy additional gift cards.

 

8. Does a gift card count toward the $30 free shipping minimum?
     No — gift cards are digital and don't ship, so they don't count toward the $30 threshold. That applies to physical, shippable products only.

 

Delivery

 

1. What exactly will I (or they) receive?
     An email with your CandyVerse gift card — card design, dollar amount, a unique redemption code, and your message if you added one. It arrives clearly from CandyVerse so it reads as a gift, not spam.

 

2. How fast will it arrive?
     Instantly, or on your scheduled date, by email.

 

3. What if the email never shows up?
     Check spam/promotions first. Still nothing? Contact us at support@mycandyverse.com and we'll resend it right away.

 

4. What if I entered the wrong recipient email?
     Contact us as soon as possible with your order details — if the card hasn't been redeemed yet, we can resend it to the correct address.

 

5. Can I send it to myself instead of someone else?
     Of course — enter your own email at checkout.

 

Using It

 

1. Where can I use my gift card?
     Through mycandyverse.com checkout only. To use it for an in-store purchase, place your order on the website and select "Pick Up In Store" at checkout — your order will be ready to grab at our store location. Gift cards can't be redeemed directly at the in-store point-of-sale register, since pricing may differ between the Site and in-store purchases made without an online order.

 

2. Can I use my gift card on a TikTok Shop, Walmart, or DoorDash order?
     No — gift cards can only be redeemed through mycandyverse.com checkout, not through any third-party marketplace.

 

3. Are there any restrictions?
     No minimum spend. Just redeem through mycandyverse.com checkout — select "Pick Up In Store" there if you'd rather grab your order at our store location instead of having it shipped.

 

4. Does my gift card expire?
     60 months after purchase, except where state law requires longer or prohibits expiration entirely — in those cases, we follow the law. Your exact expiration date is shown on the card and in your confirmation email.

 

5. What if my order costs less than my balance?
     The remainder stays on your card for next time.

 

6. Can I use a gift card for part of an order?
     Yes — cover the rest with another payment method at checkout.

 

7. Can I combine multiple gift cards or a promo code?
     Yes with promo codes. Using multiple gift cards on one order, double-check at checkout that the full balance applies.

 

8. Do I need an account to redeem it?
     No — guest checkout works. An account just makes your balance easier to track.

 

Managing Your Gift Card

 

1. How do I check my balance?
     Ask our CandyVerse Assistant chat or contact support@mycandyverse.com to check your balance.

 

2. I lost my gift card email — can it be recovered?
     Contact us with the name/email used at purchase and we'll look it up and resend it.

 

3. What if someone else uses my gift card code without my permission?
     Treat your gift card code like cash — once it's redeemed, we can't reverse that transaction. We're not responsible for unauthorized use of a gift card code, so keep it as private as you would a credit card number.

 

4. Can I reload or add more funds to an existing card?
     Not at this time — each gift card is a one-time value, but you're welcome to purchase another anytime.

 

5. Are gift card purchases final sale too?
     Yes — always, with no exceptions. Even in situations where a regular merchandise order might be eligible for a remedy, the gift card purchase itself can't be refunded, exchanged, or reversed once completed.
