CandyVerse
Gift Card Terms
Effective Date: August 29, 2026
Last Updated: August 29, 2026
These Gift Card Terms govern the purchase, delivery, and redemption of CandyVerse digital gift cards ("Gift Card(s)") sold through mycandyverse.com (the "Site"), operated by CandyVerse, LLC ("CandyVerse," "we," "us," or "our"). These Gift Card Terms supplement, and are incorporated into, the CandyVerse Terms of Use. In the event of any conflict between these Gift Card Terms and the Terms of Use on matters specific to Gift Cards, these Gift Card Terms control. All other provisions of the Terms of Use — including Disclaimer, Limitations of Liability, Governing Law, and Dispute Resolution — apply equally to Gift Cards and are not repeated in full here.
By purchasing, sending, receiving, or redeeming a Gift Card, you agree to these Gift Card Terms.
1. What a CandyVerse Gift Card Is
CandyVerse Gift Cards are digital-only gift cards delivered by email. We do not issue or mail physical gift cards. Each Gift Card carries a unique redemption code tied to a dollar value selected by the purchaser at checkout.
2. Delivery
-
Gift Cards are delivered by email to the recipient address entered at checkout.
-
You may send a Gift Card immediately or schedule delivery for a future date and time.
-
You may include a personalized message of up to 500 characters, included in the delivery email.
-
It is the purchaser's responsibility to enter the recipient's email address correctly. If a Gift Card is sent to an incorrect address and has not yet been redeemed, contact us and we will assist with resending it to the correct recipient.
-
If a delivery email is not received, check spam/promotions folders first, then contact customer service.
3. Where Gift Cards Can Be Used
-
Gift Cards are redeemable through checkout on the Site only.
-
To use a Gift Card toward an in-store purchase, the order must be placed through the Site with "Pick Up In Store" selected at checkout.
-
Gift Cards cannot be redeemed directly at our physical store's point-of-sale register, as pricing may differ between Site purchases and in-store purchases made without an online order.
-
No account is required to redeem a Gift Card — guest checkout is supported. Creating a free CandyVerse account is optional and makes it easier to track your balance.
4. Value, Fees, and Taxes
-
No fees apply to purchase, activate, or hold a Gift Card. No dormancy, inactivity, or maintenance fees apply.
-
No sales tax is charged at the time of Gift Card purchase. Applicable sales tax is charged at the time of redemption, based on the items in the order.
-
Gift Card purchases do not count toward free-shipping order minimums or other promotions that apply specifically to physical, shippable merchandise.
5. Balance & Partial Redemption
-
If an order total is less than the Gift Card balance, the remaining balance stays on the card for future use.
-
If an order total exceeds the Gift Card balance, the difference may be paid using another accepted payment method at checkout.
-
Multiple Gift Cards may be combined on a single order, and Gift Cards may be combined with valid promo codes.
-
Gift Card balances cannot be manually adjusted, transferred, or exchanged for cash, except where required by law.
-
To check a Gift Card balance, contact our chatbot or customer service team and request a balance check.
6. Expiration
-
Except where prohibited by law, Gift Cards expire sixty (60) months from the date of purchase, or the date funds were last loaded, whichever is later.
-
If a Gift Card is scheduled for future delivery, the 60-month expiration period still runs from the date of purchase, not the delivery date.
-
Some states, including California, prohibit expiration dates on gift cards altogether. Where applicable law prohibits an expiration date or requires a longer validity period, your Gift Card will not expire, or will remain valid for the period required by law, regardless of the date stated above.
-
The exact expiration date is shown on the Gift Card and in the purchase confirmation email.
7. Restrictions
-
Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase additional Gift Cards.
-
Gift Cards have no minimum order requirement.
-
Gift Cards are not redeemable for cash, except where required by law.
-
Gift Cards are not reloadable unless we state otherwise.
-
Gift Cards may not be resold, auctioned, or transferred for value except as a personal gift.
-
We reserve the right to refuse redemption of a Gift Card reasonably suspected to have been obtained fraudulently, and to cancel orders associated with such activity.
8. Final Sale — No Refunds or Exchanges
All Gift Card purchases are final. Gift Cards are not eligible for refund, exchange, or cancellation under any circumstance, including situations in which a regular merchandise order might otherwise be eligible for a remedy under Section 6 of the Terms of Use (such as an order we cancel or a fulfillment error on our part). This final-sale policy applies to the purchase of the Gift Card itself; it does not change how the resulting balance may be spent, as described above.
9. Lost, Stolen, or Compromised Gift Cards
-
Treat your Gift Card code like cash. We are not responsible for Gift Cards that are lost, stolen, or redeemed by an unauthorized party once the code has been shared or compromised.
-
If you believe a Gift Card code has been compromised before redemption, contact customer service immediately. We will attempt to assist but cannot guarantee recovery of redeemed value, and may require proof of purchase to review the issue.
10. Gift Card Scam Warning
CandyVerse will never contact you to request payment via Gift Card for a refund, prize, debt, fine, or any other purpose. If someone contacts you claiming to represent CandyVerse (or any other company or government agency) and asks you to pay them using a CandyVerse Gift Card, this is a scam. Do not share your Gift Card code, and please report the attempt to us.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Gift Card Terms from time to time, consistent with Section 24 (Modifications and Interruptions) of the Terms of Use. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Changes will not reduce the value or validity period of a Gift Card already purchased.
12. Contact Us
Questions about a Gift Card purchase, balance, or redemption can be directed to us using the contact information provided in Section 36 (Contact Us) of the CandyVerse Terms of Use.
